DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Madanagopalan Padmanath (IMSc Chennai)\, Manjari Bag
chi (IMSc Chennai)\n\nThe Advanced school on Mathematical Methods for Phys
icists is a focused training program aimed at early-career PhD students an
d postdoctoral researchers working in astrophysics\, particle physics\, an
d nuclear physics. The school is designed to provide participants with exp
osure to advanced analytical techniques that play a central role in modern
theoretical physics research\, but are often not covered in sufficient de
pth within the standard graduate curriculum.\nThe program will be held dur
ing 6–10 July 2026 at the Ramanujan Auditorium\, IMSc Chennai and will c
onsist of a series of intensive lectures accompanied by tutorial and/or
problem-solving sessions. This year\, the school will feature the three sp
ecialized topics with an emphasis on developing practical understanding an
 d research-oriented mathematical skills.\n\nIntroductory lectures on Feynm
an Integrals: B. Ananthanarayan [IISc]\nDifferential geometry for physicis
 ts: T. R. Ramadas [CMI]\nAnalyticity\, Unitarity\, Crossing: An Introducti
on: B. Ananthanarayan [IISc]\nFeynman integrals and the method of differen
tial equation: Narayan Rana [NISER]\n\nThrough these lectures and hands-on
sessions\, participants will gain familiarity with advanced mathematical
tools relevant to contemporary research problems in high-energy physics\,
nuclear physics\, and astrophysics.\nThe program is expected to host parti
cipants from institutes across India\, selected on the basis of academic m
erit and recommendations. The initiative is intended to contribute to the
training and development of the next generation of researchers in theoreti
cal physics. The registration for the event is open and will be closed on
 7th June 2026\, 23:59 hours.\n\nhttps://indico.imsc.res.in/event/11/
